AI search for UAE healthcare
Patients ask AI which clinic to choose. Does it describe yours correctly?
People in the UAE use AI for health questions far more than most countries: 59% of UAE residents said they use AI to manage their health, against 35% globally, in the Edelman Trust Barometer health report published in 2026. Medical travellers do the same from abroad. In our research, answers about treatments, costs and packages were often built from foreign booking aggregators rather than from the hospitals and clinics themselves.
The moment
Where the shortlist is decided
A patient in another GCC country needs a procedure and is considering travelling to the UAE for it. Before calling anyone, he asks an assistant which hospitals are strongest for that procedure, what it costs, and whether his insurance is likely to be accepted.
Three names come back with prices and a line each. He contacts the first two. If the details about your hospital were wrong or missing, you never hear about the patient at all.
The assistant names a few hospitals and gives price ranges, frequently citing booking aggregators and directories rather than the hospitals' own pages. If the aggregator's page is the one read, the aggregator's version of your hospital is the one repeated.
The sources
Where AI gets its picture of you
Booking and medical tourism aggregators
Sites that list procedures, prices and doctors across many countries are retrieved heavily for cost and package questions. Their data about you may be thin or out of date.
Regulator and directory listings
DHA, DoH and MOHAP registers and healthcare directories carry facility and practitioner facts assistants treat as authoritative.
Your treatment and specialist pages
Readable, factual pages per treatment and per specialist, with credentials and locations, are what a model can lift directly.
Reviews
Review text on Google and health platforms, and how recent it is, shapes how assistants characterise a clinic.
Health and lifestyle press
Independent coverage of your specialists and services is the corroboration a model looks for on health questions.
Other languages
Medical travellers ask in Arabic, Russian and other languages, and the answers can differ sharply from the English ones.
The rules
Built for healthcare advertising rules
Healthcare advertising in the UAE is regulated. DHA's standards restrict claims such as "best", "the only" and guaranteed results, and ads need the right approvals. The usual GEO shortcut, getting yourself onto "best clinic in Dubai" lists, often does not fit those rules. Our work focuses on accuracy: correct facts, clear specialist credentials, readable treatment information and honest pricing where you choose to publish it.
What we find
The three gaps we see most
01
Aggregators answer the cost question
Hospitals rarely publish readable package or price information, so assistants take prices from third-party sites that may be wrong.
02
Specialists are invisible as entities
Patients ask for a doctor as often as a clinic. Practitioner pages without clear credentials, specialties and locations are hard for a model to connect to your facility.
03
Facts disagree across sources
Different addresses, service lists or insurance information across your site, directories and listings lead to hedged or wrong answers about you.
How we start
Same method, your category
We are not a healthcare agency. We help UAE companies become the answer AI assistants give, and every engagement starts the same way: a conversation about your business, then a look at what ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude and Google AI Overviews actually say when your customers ask. We show you the answers, who gets named, where the assistants get their information, and what we would change.
We are in Dubai and would rather meet in person, anywhere in the UAE.

Questions
Asked and answered
How do hospitals and clinics in the UAE get recommended by ChatGPT?
By being the most accurate, readable source about themselves. Treatment and specialist pages written as plain text, consistent facts across directories and regulator listings, recent reviews, and independent coverage. All within DHA, DoH or MOHAP advertising rules.
Does AI visibility work comply with DHA advertising standards?
It should, and ours is designed to. We do not recommend superlative claims, guarantees or rankings that the standards restrict. The focus is on factual accuracy and clarity, which is also what assistants reward.
Why do AI assistants quote prices from aggregator sites?
Because those sites publish readable prices and most hospitals do not. If you choose to publish package information clearly on your own pages, assistants have a better source to use.
